- - -- - - in der Ansicht, man dürfe sich nichtgegen die Interessen der Stadt stellen, sondern Miturheberfür die Rettung werden; er auch das Mouseionbelagert hat zusammen mit dem Volk, und als der Stadtdiese Aktionen gelungen waren, er unermüdlich auchweitere Dienste beständig erwiesen und festgehalten hat anseinem Wohlwollen für das Volk; und als der Krieg ausbracht,er sich als vortrefflicher Mann erwiesen - - - und in seinem Kampfalles willig getan hat, was der General anordnete; under auch für die Zukunft ankündigt, Dienste zu erweisendem Volk der Athener; – Damit nun ein Wettstreit seiunter allen, die bei dem Volk Auszeichnung finden wollen,in dem Wissen, dass sie geehrt werden von dem Volk,zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die Vorsitzenden,die erlost sein werden zum Vorsitz im Volk für diekommende Volksversammlung, sobald die gesetzlich vorgeschriebenenTage verstrichen sind, hierüber verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlagedes Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach der Rat esfür gut befindet, dass man belobige Strombichos und bekränze mitgoldenem Kranz gemäß dem Gesetz wegen seines Wohlwollens und seinesEhrgeizes für das Volk; dass er auch Athener sein sollund seine Nachkommen, und er eingeschrieben werde in Phyleund Demos und Phratrie, die er will, gemäß demGesetz; dass die Prytanen über ihn abstimmen lassenin der nächsten Volksversammlung; dass die Thesmothetenfür ihn die Prüfung des Privilegs einleiten, sobaldsie die Gerichtshöfe aufgefüllt haben - - -- - -
